MobiNow expands beyond FunkySexyCool to provide
mobile content solutions for media brands.


FunkySexyCool announced today that it has changed its corporate name to MobiNow to reflect increasing demand from media companies for its mobile community platform. FunkySexyCool will remain the name of its flagship product, one of the world’s largest mobile dating communities, and recent winner of the prestigious 2008 Red Herring Global 100 award.


CEO Tim O’Connor states, “Over the last few months we have been approached by media companies looking to expand their presence to mobile. They are impressed that we have a proven mobile platform that incorporates not only media-relevant features such as polling, ranking and voting, but also advertising and transactional revenue-generating capabilities. FunkySexyCool launches on T-Mobile Austria Print E-mail

FunkySexyCool announced today that it has expanded its presence in Austria with its launch on T-Mobile’s mobile portals t-zones. T-Mobile is the second largest mobile phone operator in Austria. FunkySexyCool is now on-deck with the two largest mobile phone operator in Austria, which collectively represent 75% of all Austrian mobile subscribers.

FunkySexyCool is proud to announce that its mobile social dating service is now live on dimo, the Portuguese portal representing three mobile operators: TMN, Vodafone and Optimus.

Collectively the three operators have over 12 million subscribers.
