Mike Bender – CEO
Mr. Bender has established himself as an industry leader through his experiences at media companies across broadcast, digital, and mobile platforms. Throughout his career, Mr. Bender has a proven track record of generating revenue across these multimedia properties.

Prior to his current position, Mr. Bender was the Vice President of Break Media’s East Coast Sales Team. He was instrumental in building, developing, and training the East Coast Sales Team which generated record revenue growth for Break Media’s online properties. Mr. Bender established key relationships with Fortune 500 marketers that wanted to target young men while at Break Media.

Before joining Break Media, Mr. Bender was responsible for generating ad sales revenue for ABC Television Network’s emerging media platforms such as ABC.com, ABCNews.com and Oscar.com as well as monetizing full episodes of ABC’s Network programming.

Prior to working at ABC Television Network, Mr. Bender was in charge of building and generating awareness of Univision’s online properties that targeted Hispanics. He created partnerships with marketers across various industries such as telecom, liquor, automotive, and pharmaceutical.

Beginning in 1998, Mr. Bender was integral in the creation and development of the global sales team within the successful start-up enterprise, StarMedia Network. As Vice President of the Business Solutions Group, he delivered custom solutions to wireless carriers and other enterprises looking to create engaging experiences for their respective consumers.

Mr. Bender was born in Miami, Florida and currently resides in New York City. He graduated from Yale University with a B.A. in Economics and is actively involved as a Yale University class officer.

 

Steve Ward – Chief Matchmaker Officer
Steve Ward is the Chief Matchmaker Officer of FunSexyCool. FunSexyCool is the premiere online and mobile dating site that is fun, fast, and free. Steve has a reputation as one of America’s premiere matchmakers, love coaches, dating guides, and relationship experts. Steve is also the executive producer, host and star of VH1′s “Tough Love,” and “Tough Love Couples” a franchise that gives a no nonsense assessment of relationships from beginning to end. Steve attempts to change the “destructive” dating habits of the women they invite onto Tough Love as well as the relationship ineptitude’s of their Tough Love Couples.

Steve is no stranger to the spotlight. In 2008, he candidly squared off with Jimmy Fallon on the premiere week of the “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon”. He is regularly featured in Cosmopolitan, Redbook, Glamour, People, OK! and US Weekly magazines providing commentary and tips on love dating, and relationships. Steve has also appeared on several national TV shows including Good Morning America, The Today Show, Rachel Ray, Entertainment Tonight, Access Hollywood, EXTRA, and Fox News.

Steve also is the author of the book “Crash Course in Love”, a division of Simon and Schuster. The book is a refreshingly honest and handy resource for women, whether they are looking for love and companionship or hoping to hold onto it. Steve’s dating principles are organized into different stages in the relationship life cycle, from first impressions to rekindling chemistry.

 

Peter Bewsher – VP Product Development + Founder
Peter has had a passion for technology since his first computer, a Commodore 64 at the early age of eight years. Peter belongs to one of the first generations that grew up with computers and the internet as mainstream technologies. He mastered several programming languages throughout his undergraduate studies.

A technology evangelist that firmly believes in the power of technology that lowers the barriers for people of all walks of life to access knowledge and information in addition to bringing the global community closer.

At the age of 22, (2002) he built a community product that would eventually evolve into FunSexyCool today. He has been an influential decision maker for product development since inception having spent significant time with the team in Australia, Germany, South Africa, the United States and the United Kingdom.

While Peter enjoys software engineering, his main passion is user interface and product development citing Jakob Neilson and Bruce ‘Tog’ Tognazzini as his greatest role models.

Peter completed a bachelors degree in Computing from Monash University in Melbourne, Australia.
